Born on August 24, 1973, Dave Chappelle is a American Pie comic, producer, actor, and author who rose to fame in 2003 because of his sketch comedy television show, Chappelle’s Show, which ran until his retirement in the series in 2005. He began his career from comedyafter he transferred into New York, where he had been blessed to play in Harlem’s famous Apollo Theater in the front of the notorious “Amateur Night” crowd.
