Career
Freeman’s acting career started quite early, this is only because he’s consistently had alove for the arts. He had been busy on his college ‘s drama group. In age 12, young Morgan won a statewide play contest. But following High school, he combined the U.S Air Force, expecting to be a fighter pilotwhen the didn’t occur, he left the force and proceeded to L.A. where he enroled in an acting/dancing course. From mid-1960, he combined a musical theater set — Opera Ring. His first introduction was at the stage play — The Royal Hunt Of The Sun. From 1967, Freeman made his initial off-Broadway look in the drama The Nigger Lovers — that gave birth to his Broadway debut in Hello Dolly at 1968. From 1970, Morgan Freeman started appearing on a television program for kids titled The Electric Company. The series ran till 1977 and created Freeman a family name in the amusement market. Subsequently came the box office strikes Miss Daisy and Glory in 1989. Driving Miss Daisy made him an Oscar nomination. Freeman has starred in numerous other notable films such as Prince of Thieves, Robin Hood, The Shawshank Redemption (where he received another Oscar nomination), Bruce Almighty, Seven, Deep Impact and lots of more. Back in 2009, he depicted former South African president Nelson Mandela at Invictus — a sports drama directed by Clint Eastwood.
