Joey’s tragic death in March 2016 has been ‘t the initial departure, her family had listed. The family dropped their just son/brother Justin to an automobile crash in 1994. After being struck close to the household ‘s farm in Indiana, the bad 17-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries two days later and was put to rest.

On February 17, 2014, Joey and Rory welcomed their first child, a girl namedIndiana Boon Feek. But days after the kid ‘s arrival, the couple had been greeted with the sad news of the daughter being diagnosed using an Downs syndrome. Bad became worse when Joey was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer. In under a year later surgeons had announced her cancer , Joey at June 2015 fell ill and was advised by physicians the cancer had returned. Truth
Joey has been Rory’s next wife. The Kansas native had two brothers from his prior marriage. Her husband Rory Lee Feek, served in the Marines before going to Nashville in 1995. He was also a staff writer for Hall of Fame songwriter Harlan Howard and Clint Black. He’s the owner of this Giantslayer publishing company and record label, based in 2004. Along with singing, Joey co-owned a cafe along with her husband’s sister Macy. NamedMarcy Jo’s Mealhouse, it had been located in rural Pottsville, Tennessee.
