Joan Van Ark is a award-winning American actress famous for her role as “Valene Ewing”, a literary character in the CBS soap opera known as Knots Landing (1979) which appears to be a spin-off from a different CBS soap opera named Dallas. Joan Van Ark has been busy in Hollywood since the late 60’s and has continued to stay applicable till date. Joan Van Ark — Career
Joan Van Ark started her career in theatre when she acquired her first gig at the five-act comic drama titled The Miser composed by famous French playwright, Moliere and played at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She’d go on to be showcased together with Cronyn and Jessica Tandy at Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman in the Exact Same Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. Joan spent a year in the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and afterwards, she moved on to participate in this cast of Mike Nichols’ Barefoot in the Park.
