Back in 1993, Sir Elton John started dating Canadian David Furnish, a former marketing executive, and currently filmmaker. Following Parliament passed the Civil Partnership Act on the 21 st of December 2005, Elton John and David Furnish formed a civil partnership in the Windsor Guildhall.
