Family: Father
Steve Kerr was born on the 27 th of September 1965 to Malcolm H. Kerr (Dad) and Ann Zwicker (Mommy) at Beirut, Lebanon. Ann and Malcolm had three kids. His grandfather was included from the epic rescuing of girls and orphans at Aleppo and Marash while working together with the American fledgling company, Near East Relief. The organization has been formed following the Assyrian and Armenian genocides. Malcolm (Steve’s dad) was a University lecturer who specialized in Middle East Academics. Like his dad, instead of return to America, he chose to raise his family in Beirut. Invariably, Steve needed to devote a lot of his youth in Lebanon and other countries from the Middle East, attending their colleges. He, nevertheless, attended the Palisades Charter High School in Los Angeles. Tragedy struck. Steve’s dad, the then president of the American University at Beirut was shot dead by gunmen (who were later recognized to become Islamic Jihadists) in the hallway from his workplace. His father’s murder made Steve traumatized. He found comfort in basketball and his loved ones. Wife
They’re blessed with three lovely children-two sons Nick and Matthew in addition to a girl named Maddy. Nick and Maddy inherited their dad’s predilection for athletics. Nick played basketball in San Diego University and is presently a video helper at the training team of San Antonio Spurs. He expects to be trainer one day just like his dad. Maddy, on the other hand, is a great volleyball player. She had been among the very best in her high school (Torry Pines High School in Southern California). Two San Diego Section Division I championships have been won by Maddy. She produced the “Fab 50” choice by Volleyball Magazine. Maddy was rated no. 65 by Prepvolleyball.com and has also tried out for the American female volleyball team.

Truth About His Health
In 2015, Steve Kerr was reported to have experienced multiple surgeries for the undisclosed condition. But a couple years following the surgeries, he started to feel excruciating pains. This affected his training in 2017 because he had to miss some matches. But, Kerr is now back to full recovery and is performing nicely.
